FITNESS & WELLBEING PROGRAM FAQs
A 4-week fitness and holistic health program, designed to improve your fitness, energy levels, mindset, vitality and overall health. The program achieves this by supporting participants in the areas of nutrition, exercise and rest/recovery. Apart from providing live zoom classes, live webinars, educational videos and guided meditations, the program includes a healthy habits point scoring system. You earn points by completing various healthy activities, with weekly winners and a fitness & wellbeing champion at the end.
With gyms closed, and options for exercise reduced, maybe your motivation to stay fit and healthy isn’t where it would normally be. The Rossfit Fitness and Wellbeing Program may be the four week kick start you need to supercharge your health and fitness.
Rossfit - Optimising Performance is a holistic health and strength & conditioning business based in Melbourne. We are a team of coaches who love supporting people in optimising their health, wellbeing, energy levels and vitality. We’ve been coaching Melbournians to optimise their health and physical performance for over a decade. As holistic health and strength & conditioning coaches, we use an integrated approach to human health to deliver a professional service that is highly effective at achieving sustainable results. We offer a premium 1on1 health & performance coaching service, as well as semi-private coaching and group fitness & wellbeing classes. Group classes are currently conducted online via live Zoom meetings.
You will be connected with Rossfit coaches throughout the program via small group WhatsApp groups. You can use this connection to ask questions and for advice on program activities, technique and making healthy food choices.
You will have full access to over 25 live online group fitness & wellbeing classes, where you will receive world-class coaching from holistic health and strength & conditioning coaches, as well as highly experiences yoga and meditation instructors. You will receive professional guidelines in the four pillars of health – Nutrition, Rest/Recovery, Movement and Mindset.
Once a week, the Rossfit coaches will run a live Q&A where you can request an in-depth response to a question. They will also deep-dive into a four pillars health topic.
You will also be connected to other participants through the WhatsApp groups. Although we encourage a healthy level of competition, the groups are used to cheer one another on in achievements and share your tips and healthy recipes. Previous program participants gave feedback that the opportunity to interact with like-minded people is one of the best features of the program!
This is an online webpage where you have access to video guides to help you succeed in the program by implementing healthy habits to improve your fitness, strength, energy and overall health.
This platform includes a collection of guided restorative practice videos (mediation, breathing practices, qigong, zone exercises), educational videos and healthy recipes. Each week we will also update the leaderboard with weekly scores, as well as the results from the bonus workouts.
We do not believe in a ‘cookie-cutter’ approach to health & fitness. Therefore, one of the biggest differences between our Fitness & Wellbeing Program and other programs out there is that you will be interacting live with highly experienced holistic health and strength & conditioning coaches. You are supported with live group fitness & wellbeing classes, Q&A sessions with a coach, WhatsApp chat groups, Online Resources Platform and more.
We keep things simple yet effective when it comes to the nutrition guidelines for the program. Meat eaters, vegetarians, vegans and everyone in-between are welcome on the program, as our nutrition advice is based around the consumption of wholefoods with a focus on vegetables. We promote foods that are not processed and low in sugar, while avoiding vegetable oils, preservatives and other harmful additives. A full nutrition guide is given to participants at the beginning of the challenge, as well as access to recipes AND a dedicated WhatsApp group for sharing of healthy recipes.
The program provides both live fitness & wellbeing classes, delivered over Zoom video calls, as well as workout plans to complete yourself, AND pre-recorded guided meditations, qigong and mobility classes. Most of the workouts do not require any equipment – just a small amount of space, a mat or soft ground, and a computer or mobile device to log in to the live class call or to access the Online Resource Platform.
The Live Group classes include bodyweight fitness classes (cardiovascular and core fitness, as well as mobility and muscle endurance), strength classes (resistance-based exercises to build and strengthen muscle – resistance bands required for these classes, which we can supply at an additional cost), yoga (restorative yoga as well as yin yoga classes are offered) and meditation.

The program point scoring is based on an honesty system. The Rossfit team set allocated points per activity completed as part of the program. Full details on this are shared once you sign up, but there are numerous ways you can earn points across the categories of movement, nutrition and rest/recovery. You will be determining your own scores and inputting them into your personal Google Sheet Tracker each week.
At the end of the program, we have a Rossfit Fitness & Wellbeing Program Awards Party (on zoom) where the Fitness & Wellbeing Champion and category winners are announced. And yes… there will be prizes!!
