Slow Cooked Quinoa Porridge


  • 1 cup raw quinoa
  • 2 1/2 cups unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 green apple, peeled and grated
  • Pinch salt


Put all ingredients in slow cooker. Stir. Cook on low for 6 hours. You can pre-soak quinoa and rince before putting in slow cooker if you wish. Serve with fresh berries, nut butter or yoghurt.
