6,189m ASLTwo summits. One unforgettable expedition.
This is a rare opportunity to climb two classic Himalayan peaks in a single expedition. Over 25 epic days, you’ll venture deep into the Everest region – trekking across high mountain passes, exploring sacred alpine lakes, and ultimately pushing to the summits of Island Peak (6,189m) and Lobuche East (6,119m). With a structured progression in both altitude and skills, this expedition is built for those chasing the world’s highest mountains – and seeking the experience, confidence, and capability to go further.
The journey starts on foot – trekking through the Khumbu, passed Namche and into the Gokyo Valley to acclimatise and build mountain conditioning. After summiting Gokyo Ri and crossing Chola Pass, you’ll establish high camps and move into full expedition mode. You’ll use crampons, ascend fixed lines, and safely navigate crevassed glaciers and steep snow slopes under expert guidance. This is not a tourist trek – it’s an authentic alpine experience, where you’ll climb as part of a team and earn every summit metre by metre.
Activity Grade: EXTREME
This is a demanding, high-altitude climbing expedition requiring both physical endurance and technical mountaineering skills. You’ll spend 19 days trekking and climbing through complex terrain, carrying day packs, and utilising mountaineering equipment on summit pushes. Island Peak involves a glaciated headwall with fixed lines and ladder crossings, while Lobuche East’s summit ridge is steep, exposed, and requires confident scrambling while attached to a fixed rope. Prior mountaineering experience is not mandatory – however, you must be comfortable learning and applying rope skills, climbing with crampons, and operating in extreme conditions.
You’ll trek for up to 10 hours on most days, and up to 16 hours on summit days. The itinerary builds in structured acclimatisation, rest days and contingency days, ensuring you are best positioned to successfully reach your summits. Nights are spent in teahouses until the climbing phases, where we shift to tents in high alpine camps. Facilities become more basic as the expedition progresses – however, we inject premium touches wherever we can, including private helicopter flights, 5-star Kathmandu hotels, and comfortable road transport. This is a true Himalayan climbing expedition – for those ready to commit, dig deep, and walk away transformed.

“Ross carefully structured our training, tailoring sessions to meet our needs. This included weekend trips away, which helped build both our endurance and confidence. His expertise and support allowed us to fully embrace the experience in Nepal, appreciating the breathtaking landscapes without being hindered by lack of preparation.”
Richard R

"Summiting Island Peak was the most demanding thing I’ve ever done - and I wouldn’t have made it without the build-up training. The technical preparation, the high altitude education, the strength work - it all came together when it counted”
